Anger Management

Have you ever just wanted to punch someone right in the mouth for no apparent reason? I mean seriously walk up to them and say, Good morning, Kapow! Lately, I have been just a little edgy or maybe somewhat stressed but I have no reason to be a dicksnap. Well, I mean I have a few reasons but not enough that I can't say oh, to heck with it. But you know that saying "your getting on my last nerve" well that's the way I feel. Yesterday I went to a marketing meeting and lord if it isn't a small world I ran into someone I went to high school with. This person was younger than me which even made it worse because there wasn't a wrinkle on her face but I did want to chat and catch up yet this meeting was somewhat important because the Mayor of Nashville was speaking. I mean he doesn't mean shit to me but the more he blabbered on the more I just wanted to walk up and punch him right in the kazoo. Hello Mr. Mayor, my name is Beth (gotta give him a fake name) and your MTA bus plan sucks, Whap! Right in the kisser. Then walk back to my seat and bitch slap the  class mate for not having a wrinkle or her face. The slut.

Setting in the doctors office when she comes in the room and says, "so you're not feeling well?" No, you dumb  shit, I came in here to waste $25 bucks and to tell you your open toe shoes were ugly as hell. Isn't that some kind of health violation that we can be exposed to your bare feet?" Kapow! Right in those fushia pink lips and by the way your toe nail polish is ugly.

Duh comes over to me with my deodorant and says, "you're out of deodorant" and I am like,  "why do you know this? Because I have been using yours." Really? But you have your own deodorant. At that moment, I wanted to loosen his two front teeth to the point of dangling redneck teeth only to be fixed by the help of a good dentist. So, I guess you get to have the PH balanced kind of day and I get to smell like a hog. I secretly hoped he received a fungus.

Last week I got an ugly comment on my blog or for what I thought was an ugly comment. Normally, things like that do not bother me because if you put it out there then your subject to anything goes. But it kind of felt personal, so I vented about it to a few and I seriously thought I am pretty sure I could totally fight like a girl. Like punch this person until their lips looked like that chick from the First Wives Club. Big fat red lips with me giving them the one-two punch, ding ding I win the championship belt kind of gratification.

I don't know why I am so edgy. I don't know why I want to just start fighting people like a wild octopus with arms flaying but maybe its my subconscious telling me I should exercise or relieve the stress. Maybe I should take up kick boxing or become an ultimate fighter.

Do you ever feel like this?

Have a great Tuesday (ha),
Dusty

  1. This has been me all week. Hubs cant do anything right and I just want him gone off to work so I can sulk alone and not be annoyed constantly. And I may have yelled "Fat Bitch" at my stupid idiot neighbor who I hate when she didnt hold the building door open for me when my hands were FULL of groceries and it was raining. Then proceeded to email our building manager on how crappy of a neighbor she really is. Felt good. Lets fight each other?

  3. Yes, I know this feeling you speak of. Felt like that yesterday when I came to work and opened my email - that automatically set the tone for the day and I was just off - I call it "bitch mode". LOL I hope your day and week gets better. :)

  4. Meh, it happens! I think we all have wild octopus moments. It's ok, vent to people who you can make laugh, or make you laugh about the situation. You always have a way of making me laugh, no matter how sad, mad or just plain tired I may be. You're like, magical! :)

Hope you have a great Tuesday :)

  6. Ever feel this way? Um why yes like today! This morning a lady ran a red light right in front of me and i had to brake not to hit her.She never even saw me. Then the stupid b***ch wanted to cut in front of me (of course with no blinker) and I sped up and wouldnt let her over. She looked at me like i was crazy. I wanted to hit her car and then yank her out and tell her she's the cow that ran a red light. I'm very pissy today and it doesnt help that it's Shark week (that time of the month).

  8. Hell yes I feel this way! Quite often, in fact. Sometimes people just deserve a nice fist in their face and it's a real shame we can't give them what they need. Ha.

  15. I feel like this all the time. Why do you think I shop so much? The littlest thing might set me off and then I'm just on a tear. My poor husband probably gets the brunt of it since I really wouldn't ever fight with anyone but him. Poor guy. Whatever, he married me. :)

  16. A wild octopus. Um, with our two posts combined we could be the snapdickiest people on the internets today. It takes a lot to set me off, but when that happens, whoa. Watch out, America.

  18. I cannot tell you how many women I have called a cunt this week. Sounds reeeealy bad, but everything is buggin' me. I'm feeling extremely antisocial and it's making me thing two things.. 1.) Get new friends that are far away (where I don't have to pretend to enjoy going out) or 2.) avoid people for awhile.

  19. Babe.

I feel like this way all the time. (confess i do not talk to anyone before 9 a.m. unless that dirt girl calls or I call her) but lately I've been highly stressed for one huge reason. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY LIFE. so it makes everyone very annoying to me. Like the cactus of a human I am sitting next to right now, she's like pms in full swing.

I'm sorry you got a lame comment. people are assholes.

  23. Girl, I always want to punch someone in the face. Don't even get me started on my coworker. You don't have to tell me, but I'm curious as to who left you a mean comment. I mean, WTF? I hope it wasn't me... You know I adore you.

  24. I think we all feel like this at times. We all don't have the ability of turning it into a funny story like you though. I want to know who the dirty skank is that said something rude! Let's beat them up! Love ya!

  25. Yes. And if you work in a clinical area in healthcare you are NOT supposed to wear open toed shoes. Aside from being buck nasty, there are regulations against it. Report her to the Joint Commission haha

  26. I get this way at work sometimes... and my co-workers think it's important to try and cheer me up by constantly being around when I feel this way. I figure they want a free nose-job. Only reasonable explanation.

    Hang in there.
